Hello everyone, my name is Leslie C and I am a female home carer and a qualified Assistant Practitioner in District nursing specialisingin leg ulcer amd diabetes. With over 20 years of experience, I have provided care for a range of needs, including hourly and overnight care. I am a caring, friendly, and helpful person who relishes the opportunity to help people lead independent lives. I am also a skilled driver with my own car and can assist with transportation needs.
My motivation for carer stems from my passion to help individuals who need assistance and make a positive difference in their lives. Being able to see the happiness and independence that can come from receiving care is truly a rewarding experience that drives me to do what I do. I am skilled in bathing, toileting, dressing assistance, catheter care, and companionship, among other things. I have experience with those with mild cognitive impairment, bedbound patients, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression.
When I am not providing care, I am often found engaging in my hobbies such as painting, walking, dancing, card games, cooking, and baking. I am an animal lover, too, and open to caring for pets like cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds, among others.
